I always think using adblock doesn't actually give an incentive to improve. Any ad network that serves broken or abusive ads gets blocked in my hosts file, instead, because usually it's not the sites themselves at fault. Also, that way I keep seeing the ads on sites I want to support, and even see something useful every now and again.

What ads? Seriously, I very rarely see any ads on Jalopnik, of any sort. On some other main Gawker sites, yes, but not Jalopnik. I don't have AdBlock. What am I doing right?
